A Geothermal System Grows in Brooklyn
Geosource’s installation of the geothermal borefield at 1 Java Street project in Brooklyn, New York is featured in PHCP Pros. This groundbreaking mixed-use development, slated for completion in 2026, is set to be the largest in the state to incorporate a ground-source geothermal system. The project features 321 vertical boreholes drilled nearly 500 feet underground, supporting an energy-efficient heating and cooling solution for over 800 residential units.
